Amber has over 12 years' experience as a Medicaid and LTC Planner. Amber is a proud recipient of University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh's BA of Finance where she graduated with magna cum laude honors. She is a licensed insurance agent licensed in all 50 states and holds her Series 65 license with FINRA.
John has been practicing law since 1987. During the first part of his legal career, he counseled franchise organizations and was awarded the Certified Franchise Executive accreditation (by the International Franchise Association). John represented franchisors in many international master franchise agreement negotiations including Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. From 2009 to 2018, John was employed ElderCounsel, LLC as a director. He is co-founder of WealthMerge, LLC and a loan officer for Quontic Bank in their trust lending department. He has been a lecturer for the University of Oregon MBA program, presenter for the Veterans Advocate Group of America as well as numerous bar associations.
Todd Whatley is an attorney and co-founder of WealthMerge, an attorney and advisor network focused on Medicaid and VA asset protection and long term care planning. Todd is a licensed insurance agent and Certified Elder Law Attorney with 20 years of experience. He is Past President of the National Elder Law Foundation, the ABA approved organization to certify attorneys nationally as Certified Elder Law Attorneys. Todd is Of Counsel with a number of law firms across the country and is a national speaker and educator on Elder Law issues.
Rebecca A. Hobbs is the National Director of at ElderLawAnswers. She is an associate attorney with the law firm O'Donnell, Weiss & Mattei, P.C. in the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. She is Certified as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. In 2019, 2018, and 2017 Rebecca was selected for inclusion by the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the field of elder law.
She is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys (PAELA), and serves on the Editorial Board of the NAELA Journal and the serves on the Special Needs Law Section Steering Committee through NAELA. As a member the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA), she serves as the Young Lawyer Division Liaison to the Elder Law Section Council. Rebecca is also a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and is a Co-Chair of the Elder Law Section.
